Connie Hale, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner, associate professor, and Director of Graduate Studies and Research in Nursing at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. She received her MSN from Northwestern State University in 1993 and Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, 2010. Her practice background is in cardiology and diabetes. In addition to teaching graduate nurses, she provides primary care one day a week and runs a nurse-led cardiology clinic for an underserved population one day per month. She served as a board member for the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners from 2013 to 2015.
