Eleanor A. Lisbon, MD, MPH, is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is currently a Senior Director at Quintiles. Her area of expertise is first-in-human investigational products and high-risk biologics. She has been a Principal Investigator on more than 80 Phase 1 trials; including the recently approved drugs Anthim and Tagrisso. Prior to Quintiles, Dr. Lisbon was an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). At KUMC, she completed a K30 faculty development program that culminated in a Master’s In Public Health degree. Dr. Lisbon is active in the National Medical Association (NMA); she is the Immediate Past President of the Greater Kansas City Medical Society (local NMA chapter) and Vice Chair of Region V. The NMA promotes the collective interests of physicians and patients of African descent.
